Military Quilt

I'm still working on machine quilting the Dutch Tulip Quilt so there is not much new to share. I thought I would share something older. My husband retired from the Army six years ago and I made him a retirement quilt to pin all of his past company insignia on. I paper pieced it and then hand quilted it. During some of our moves I think a couple of his pins have been misplaced, so hopefully he can get some new ones.

That's a great idea for showcasing DH's pins. Sure hope you can find or replace the missing ones.

Thats a good idea, a nice place to display pins. Very nice!

Hello, hello
I remember some emails when you were still living in the Netherlands and then you moved and I lost you. So grand greetings and nice to have you in this ring.

Actually I leave for the Netherlands (just a short visit) in a couple of weeks (and also Belgium) to visit some folks I have met online. Isn't that fun?

Great quilt you made for your husband - I'm sure he is just delighted.
