Spring has arrived!
Spring has arrived in Holland! The daffodils are out in full force on our patio and the flowering trees are doing their spring thing. It has been a beautiful week - SUN! Wonderful sun!!!
Brad was here visiting on spring break, it was great to see him.
I haven't done allot of quilting this week - but hopefully I will get back to getting my current projects going again. I did baste my Lone Star and appliqué quilt and started quilting it though. I added a pieced border to it containing the other fabric in the star and appliqué - and I think it will be ok. Ed is playing golf - so I am off to quilt!!!

The Lone Star quilt looks great.
I was having some interesting issues with your blog and bloglines over the past few days. I'm not sure if things are worked out but hopefully all is resolved :))
Spring is here too -- it is warming up quite a bit and still raining!!
The Lone Star is looking great! I once sat on a lecture from a quilt appraiser who collected star pattern quilts. She said that the mark of a great quilter is her ability to make a lone star without pukering. IOW, it had to lie flat. Looks perfect to me! Have fun quilting!
The lone star quilt looks beautiful!!!
I like what you did with the empty spaces in the lone star ... the applique finishes it off nicely. I made a lone star but have only quilting in those spaces. I also like what you did with the pieced border. Will be back to see it all quilted ... great job so far!
umm i don't know anything about the quilt, but your little garden looks so nice! You look dutch! It's official now ;)
That poor fat cat, he's gonna jump off one day.
Love you!
When I see the picture of your patio I long for the spring to arrive here. I will have to wait a few weeks more until I can put flowers on my balcony. Enjoy the spring with all beautiful flowers in Holland!
